How will you “Rise Strong” after a fall?

Cheers, dear readers, These past few posts, Eric and I have shared the challenging “oh-my-goodness-roller-coaster-of-emotions-how-on-earth-do-we-deal-with-them” it can be when our close friends have little rugrats while many of us happen to be struggling with infertility, the subsequent treatments, and all of the often unexpected emotions that come along with that experience. Many of us may… Continue reading How will you “Rise Strong” after a fall?

The month of February has been hectic to say the least! With both clinics up and running full-steam as well as several radio and print media coverage, our team was pushed to their limits to keep up with deadlines and abreast of the workload. What gets us through each and everyday? Visits from our babies of course! There is nothing like seeing months (even years) of work melt away by a baby’s smile. It’s what we love to do and it’s what ensures we’re forever connected and committed to doing what we do.

If you’ve missed the various interviews and articles then you can find them uploaded and posted on both our Facebook as well as on Twitter.

Do also check out the blog spaces because in addition to the wonderful articles that are being written by our authors there is plenty more information in the form of advice and tips that are being shared which are bound to strike your fancy.

A Million Happy Little Heartbreaks (or, “Battling Infertility: A fight worth fighting”)

Hi Internets! Eric here, and I thought this week I’d share an interesting conversation that came up. Not long ago, an acquaintance of mine was surprised to find out that Cathy and I write a blog for an infertility hospital because, as he put it, “But you couldn’t have kids.” Um, yes, I do realize… Continue reading A Million Happy Little Heartbreaks (or, “Battling Infertility: A fight worth fighting”)

Finding An Infertility Community Online

Vintage tones pictures of five women friends viewed from rear giving up hands for happiness in front ona sunset on the ocean and holding lights and a dreamcatcher for spiritual concept

I’ve written before about how isolating my fertility journey was in the beginning. I didn’t expect to struggle to conceive. At the time, I didn’t know anyone else who was going through what I was. The people around me seemed to fall pregnant and grow their families effortlessly. So, I endured the shame and… Continue reading Finding An Infertility Community Online

Making room for Hope in Infertility

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

When I walked into the warm breezy room I was immediately overcome with a mix of emotions. The afternoon sun poured in generously through the window. The white cotton curtains danced on the breeze in somewhat etheric fashion. This room has always had a sense of softness to it. It feels uplifting, filled with light… Continue reading Making room for Hope in Infertility

Guy stuff: How to be awesome to a male friend struggling with infertility

Hi everyone! Eric here this week with more musings from the <cue movie announcer voice> “male perspective”. In a lot of pop culture and conventional wisdom, men are characterized as being boorish, insensitive, and often emotionally flat-footed. And I know at least a few women who’d agree. I beg to differ. I don’t think this… Continue reading Guy stuff: How to be awesome to a male friend struggling with infertility
